Aja Hogan

Aja Hogan graduated from Colorado State University. She was an assistant for Colorado State’s Football team for on-campus recruitment. Along with that, she was also a student co-creator for CSU Social and Digital Media.

In the sports industry, she has learned skills that have motivated her to be the best and support those around her. While continuing to be consistent in her work and paying attention to detail, she stays adaptable to changes that may arise.

Aja is originally from Key West, FL but grew up in Buena Vista, CO. She is working towards getting a degree in Journalism and Technical Communications and a minor in Sports Management. Exactly where she lives or who she works for is secondary to having a degree that she is passionate about and allows her to contribute to society. Work for Aja has never been about money; it’s more a place where she can express herself, learn more about life, and collaborate with others. A long-term career goal for her is to make sure she’s centering her work around ‘what she can do for others rather than ‘what she can get out of it’. Aja knows that it will motivate her to do the best work she can because she feels most proud of herself when her efforts are focused outward.

Through her time at Colorado State, she has learned more about what it means to be a great leader. She has had experiences to help contribute to her growth. Along with becoming a better leader, Aja has also enhanced her communication skills. Some areas of expertise she possesses are media-related items that go from photography and editing to social media graphics, posting, and analytics. She also has skills and knowledge in sports recruitment and football.

Aja’s hobbies consist of being active like running and weight lifting. She also enjoys experiencing new cultures and traveling often. Along with those Aja just enjoys the simple things in life like hanging out with family and friends, cooking a good meal, and learning new skills.
